Mr. Azriel Kadim, Chairman of the Board
Azriel Kadim has a long history of business development in a variety of fields such as chemistry, materials, biotechnology and life sciences. As the former director of the Yeda Research and Development Company, the commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute, Mr. Kadim has elevated many projects to a point of successful commercialization. Mr. Kadim holds a BSc and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Mr. Zohar Gendler, Board Member
Zohar Gendler is the CEO of Beta O2 Technologies Ltd. a company dealing with the development of artificial bio-pancreas for diabetes patients. As the Former CEO of the Technion Entrepreneurial Incubator Company (TEIC), Zohar Gendler brings wide-ranging experience in identifying new technologies and establishing, directing, and creating value to start-up companies. He has extensive experience with raising funds to early stage companies and mentoring TEIC's entrepreneurial subsidiaries and affiliates. Prior to his appointment as the CEO of TEIC in 1995, he served as the incubator's vice president for business development for two years. Mr. Gendler was the business manager of TAN Ceramic Ltd. He also held a post at Israel's Ministry of Defense. He has been a member of the Technion's Patent Committee since 1998. Mr. Gendler earned his master's of science degree in material engineering, a bachelor's degree in physics, and a certificate in business management from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Miguel Gorenberg, M.D., Co-Founder and Board Member
Dr. Miguel Gorenberg is the Director of the Nuclear Medicine Department at the Bnai Zion Medical Center, Haifa and a Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Dr. Miguel has published over forty-nine articles, research grants, patents and abstracts.
Mr. Ori Kanner, CEO
With 8 years of experience in the medical device industry serving at various management positions, Ori Kanner brings both technical and commercial experience in bringing newly developed products into the market. He has been the Chief Technology Officer for a European company that develops, manufactures and markets medical devices for radiation cancer treatment, and the Vice President for Business Development at APOS-Medical and Sports Technologies Ltd, an Israeli company that developed a unique device and treatment method for rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. Mr. Kanner has a BSc in industrial engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an MSc in Radiation Physics from The University of London.
Professor Elon Eisenberg, Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board
Elon Eisenberg, former president of the Israeli Pain Association, is the Director of the Multidisciplinary Pain Relief Unit at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel and a professor at the Faculty of Medicine in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. His main areas of research are mechanisms and treatment of neuropathic pain including CRPS, cancer pain, opioids and electrical stimulation. Prof. Eisenberg has published over 120 articles, book chapters and abstracts on various areas of pain.
